1.Agricultural and Agritech Technician: 

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Agricultural and Agritech Technician to support our banana farming operations and assist with crop production, irrigation management, and general agricultural technical activities.

2.Fruit Farm Worker:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Fruit Farm Worker to assist with daily farming, harvesting, and crop maintenance activities within our banana farming operations.


Benefits

Salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 perAnnum + Superannuation.


Task & responsibilities

1. AGRICULTURAL AND AGRITECH TECHNICIAN:

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor crop growth, plant health, and overall farm productivity. 
  • Assist with irrigation scheduling, fertigation, and soil moisture management. 
  • Conduct routine crop inspections to identify pest, disease, and nutrient issues. 
  • Maintain records relating to fertiliser usage, crop cycles, and production activities. 
  • Support implementation of farm biosecurity and quality assurance procedures. 
  • Assist with nursery, plantation, and greenhouse-related activities where required. 
  • Coordinate with farm management regarding harvesting schedules and crop planning. 
  • Monitor environmental and weather conditions affecting crop production. 
  • Assist in operating and monitoring agricultural systems and farming technologies. 
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures. 
  • Provide technical support to improve crop yield and operational efficiency.

2.FRUIT FARM WORKER:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:   

  • Harvest, sort, and pack bananas and other farm produce.
  • Assist with planting, pruning, weeding, and general crop maintenance.
  • Operate farming tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with irrigation and fertiliser application activities.
  • Monitor crops for signs of pests, disease, or damage.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across farming areas.
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Support farm supervisors with general farming duties as required.

Qualification & experience

1. AGRICULTURAL AND AGRITECH TECHNICIAN:

  • Minimum Diploma qualification in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field. 
  • Minimum 1 year full-time relevant work experience in the same or closely related occupation. 
  • Practical understanding of irrigation systems, crop production, and agricultural operations.
  • Ability to work in a regional farming environment.

2.FRUIT FARM WORKER:

  • Previous experience in fruit farming or agricultural work preferred. 
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions. 
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team. 
  • Ability to work in a regional farming environment.
