You will be responsible for assessing, trimming, and shoeing horses using advanced techniques and best practices. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with clients and veterinarians to develop tailored hoof care plans that prioritize the well-being and performance of each horse.

Task & responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Perform trimming, shoeing, and corrective procedures on a variety of horses.
• Conduct thorough assessments of hoof health and structure.
• Collaborate effectively with clients and veterinarians to create tailored hoof care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and client interactions.
• Stay updated on industry developments and advances in equine hoof care.

Qualification & experience

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Farrier, with a recognized certification or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in all aspects of hoof care, including trimming, shoeing, and therapeutic shoeing.
• Strong knowledge of equine anatomy, physiology, and common hoof-related issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
