About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fruit Grower to join our team at Granville Holdings. You will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of our fruit production, from soil preparation and planting to high-quality harvesting. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who enjoys outdoor work and has a passion for sustainable horticulture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Crop Management: Maintaining current fruit tress and plantation of new young fruit trees when required
  • Cultivation: Maintain optimal growing conditions through fertilising, thinning and pruning.
  • Harvesting & Post-Harvest: Selecting and picking fruit based on ripeness and quality standards.
  • Operations & Logistics: Grading, packing, storing, and dispatching produce and completing dispatch dockets. Operate TOMR Lens Machine and Sizer
  • Quality Control: Carry out daily quality control and maintain records of produce dispatched and inspection audits 
  • Asset Maintenance: Ensure orchard in good working order.
  • Staff Supervision: Select, supervise and train, staff assigning daily tasks and ensuring the teams productivity.

Requirements & Skills

  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in commercial fruit production or a relevant Degree
  • Certifications: Current Driver’s Licence
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to work early starts and perform manual tasks in varying weather conditions.
  • Team Leadership: Strong communication skills to lead employers
