Electrical Nominee - Electrican

We’re looking for a qualified Electrical Nominee to join our valued client in a permanent position – a powerhouse in manufacturing mechanical components, specialising in heavy engineering, precision engineering, defence, in-service support, and the rail industries.

Requirements

• WA Electrical Licence (or apply for one if coming from interstate)
• Electrical Nominee Certification
• A Grade Electrical licence (minimum)
• White Card
• Ability to interpret electrical plans and complete fault‑finding
• Full Australian driver’s licence – highly desirable
• Australian Citizen - Eligibility for Australian Defence Security Clearance
• National police clearance
• Working at heights
• Confined spaces

Role Responsibilities

•  Ensuring all work meets Australian Standards
• Follow all site rules and company procedures
• Electrical work on ships and vessels
• Installing wiring and cable trays
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
• Testing, tagging, troubleshooting and fault-finding
• Delivering quality workmanship across Defence and commercial projects
