The Duratec-Ertech Joint Venture (DEJV) is a specialist Defence infrastructure delivery partnership with a strong track record in delivering major infrastructure works at HMAS Stirling, Western Australia’s premier naval base. ABOUT THE ROLE

Ertech is hiring for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Duratec-Ertech Joint Venture (DEJV) team supporting our long-term services construction scopes in Rockingham, WA. 

Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Lead assigned scopes of work, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Provide and seek technical advice across design, construction, and program modifications.
• Maintain strong project performance, even in challenging conditions, and take ownership of issues in your scope.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage resources across work areas and teams to achieve successful outcomes.
• Apply sound commercial judgement to decisions, contributing to project profitability.
• Build positive relationships by understanding client needs and delivering quality outcomes that meet contract, budget, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure all site activities comply with HSEQ standards, demonstrating strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental performance.
• Select and engage capable suppliers and subcontractors based on quality, safety, and value for money.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and resource efficiency to deliver successful outcomes.
• Lead and oversee a team, whilst offering support and mentorship. 

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• 3+ years’ experience within Electrical Engineering, ideally on major construction projects
• Ability to obtain and maintain Defence security clearance (essential)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (essential).
• Australian Defence background is desirable.
