We are currently seeking an Experienced Civil Engineering Technician to join our growing team and specialize in Geotechnical Lab Testing.

Position: Full Time

Salary Range – $76,515 – $90,000

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform field sampling and testing activities plus soil/ground investigations

• Be the site liaison for contractors and clients

• Undertake laboratory testing on construction materials such as soil, concrete and aggregates

• Analyse and calculate results of testing

• Prepare test reports and perform quality assurance testing

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Min. 1 year work experience

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering OR Laboratory Technology field with a Certificate IV or Diploma preferred

• Demonstrated verbal and written communication and project management skills

• Solutions and efficiency focused, partnering and client relationship orientated

• Lateral thinking, problem solving and strong collaboration and team working abilities

• Passionate about geotechnical engineering and geology with a broad range of expertise including investigation, interpretation, modelling and design

• Experience in using geotechnical software to analyse problems and form solutions

• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships within the team, with clients and stakeholders
