Overview
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable Electrical Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will assemble Power Supply Cabinets, including the manufacture of busbar and water systems. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work, takes pride in precision, and thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble electrical components, wiring, and sub‑assemblies following shop‑floor drawings, schematics, and work instructions
Perform soldering, crimping, cable routing, and mechanical fastening as required
Experience with brazing and soldering is preferred, though training may be provided for the right candidate
Carry out marking out, cutting, painting, brazing, assembly, and installation of electrical busbar and water manifolds/systems
Identify and resolve basic assembly issues, or escalate complex problems to the team leader or engineer
Maintain accurate production records
Follow all workplace safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized work area
Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Certificate III in Electrical Fitting (UEE33020)
Previous experience in electrical assembly, electronics manufacturing, or a related field
Minimum of 5+ years of electrical assembly experience is required
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Australian work authorisation is required at time of application
Work Environment
Hands‑on manufacturing or assembly setting
May involve standing for extended periods and lifting components or tools
Use of PPE as required
