We are seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to support the design, development, integration, and maintenance of automated, electromechanical, and robotic systems. The role involves working across embedded software, robotics and control systems to deliver innovative engineering solutions.

Task & responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain mechatronic and automated systems
• Develop embedded software for control and automation applications
• Work on robotics system including programming, integration and optimization
• Integrate mechanical, electrical and electronic components into functional systems
• Develop and implement PLC and embedded control systems
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve existing automation systems
• Prepare technical drawings and documentation using CAD software
• Conduct system testing, validation, and performance analysis
• Support installation, commissioning, and system upgrades
• Ensure compliance with Australian engineering and safety standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams

Qualification & experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or related field
• Experience in automation, robotics, or industrial engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of embedded software development and control systems
• Experience in PLC programming
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Strong problem-solving and technical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
