We are looking for a motivated Civil Engineering Technician for our construction material testing laboratory with 1–2 years of experience to support our engineering professionals in delivering critical infrastructure projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for an early- career professional to work across diverse civil engineering works including drainage, water supply, sewerage systems, roads, airports, bridges, dams, and other structures.
• Perform and supervise field investigations and laboratory testing of soil, aggregates, and construction materials to assess quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Interpret technical specifications, engineering instructions, and testing standards to ensure the correct application of procedures and appropriate use of testing equipment.
• Gather, record, and evaluate survey and testing data, undertaking calculations and analysis to support engineering assessments and project outcomes.
• Estimate material quantities, resource requirements, and associated costs while ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and project specifications.
• Carry out field and laboratory testing activities, analyse results, and prepare detailed reports to assist engineers in decision-making and project planning.
• Inspect civil engineering works, including earthworks and infrastructure projects, to monitor construction quality, compliance, and progress against specifications.
• Coordinate testing programs, compile technical findings, and provide accurate documentation and reporting to support construction, maintenance, and quality assurance activities.
