AT Electric Services is a Melbourne-based electrical contracting and technical services business delivering electrical installation support, testing, commissioning assistance, maintenance coordination, and project-based technical services across commercial, industrial, and project-based electrical environments.

Due to continued growth in project activity, increasing operational demand, and expanding commissioning and technical support requirements across active project environments, the business is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to support technical coordination, testing activities, commissioning processes, verification functions, and project delivery support activities.

The role supports practical project operations where electrical installation activities, testing procedures, commissioning requirements, and technical documentation must be coordinated accurately to support safe and efficient project delivery outcomes.

The Electrical Engineering Technician will support testing, commissioning, verification, technical coordination, and operational project delivery activities across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure-related electrical projects.

This is a practical, site-based technical support role involving coordination between commissioning activities, testing procedures, electrical documentation, operational support activities, and operational project requirements.

The successful applicant will work closely with project supervisors, electricians, commissioning personnel, technical teams, and operational staff to support efficient project execution and maintain technical and documentation standards across active project environments.

Task & responsibilities

Applicants must demonstrate:

- Relevant experience within electrical installation support, testing, commissioning, maintenance coordination, technical support, or operational project delivery environments

- Experience working with electrical drawings, schematics, commissioning records, testing procedures, or technical project documentation

- Practical exposure to commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or power distribution project environments

- Understanding of testing procedures, commissioning activities, verification processes, and technical documentation requirements

- Ability to support technical coordination activities within active electrical project and site environments

- Strong attention to detail, technical accuracy, and documentation capability - Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work collaboratively within operational project teams

- Professional working proficiency in English

Qualification & experience

- Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Electrotechnology, or a related field

- Relevant practical experience within electrical project, testing, commissioning, maintenance, or technical operational environments will be highly regarded
