THE ROLE
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Automotive Electrician to join our workshop operations. The successful applicant will install, maintain and repair electrical wiring and electronic systems in motor vehicles and specialised fleet vehicles, ensuring all work complies with Australian standards and manufacturer specifications.

• Full-time permanent role based in South Windsor, NSW.
• Standard ordinary hours are 38 hours per week, with reasonable overtime as required.
• Superannuation and statutory entitlements provided in accordance with Australian workplace laws.
• Supportive workshop environment with opportunities for ongoing professional development.
• Use specialised electrical and electronic diagnostic equipment to locate faults in vehicle systems.
• Install, maintain and repair vehicle electrical wiring and electronic components.
• Test and replace alternators, starter motors, voltage regulators and related electrical systems.
• Repair and replace faulty ignition systems, wiring, switches, lamps and relays.
• Install and configure vehicle accessories and power-operated equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Diagnose and repair charging, starting and engine management systems.
• Conduct electrical system inspections and testing to ensure safe operation.
• Install and route electrical harnesses and looms within specialised vehicles.
• Assist with vehicle fit-out and integration of specialised electrical accessories and components.
• Maintain accurate documentation of diagnostic findings and repair work.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and automotive electrical safety standards.
• Maintain workshop equipment and diagnostic tools in safe working condition.
• AQF Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum three years relevant post-qualification experience as an Automotive Electrician.
• Demonstrated experience using automotive electrical diagnostic equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Current driver's licence.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
