National Technical Coordinator

The primary purpose of the National Technical Coordinator role is to support the Technical Manager and the objectives of the National Technical Group by coordinating vehicle production changes with Operations teams and regional Quality Coordinators. It also involves liaising with customers to ensure their Port of Entry requirements and fitments are clearly documented and effectively implemented into production through national and regional quality teams. The role includes reviewing and distributing customer-controlled SOPs, update & distribute all changes to production and respective Build Sheets , and conducting investigations and root cause analysis to identify issues and recommend appropriate countermeasures.

Task & responsibilities

• Administer & implement nationally, all Customer technical requirements as required as follows, but not limited to:
  • Coordination of activities for new/existing customers/ models, including model & Colour codes, compliance data, fuel data, system service codes, Arrival, Storage & Preservation requirements and other activities for new and existing business
  • Review & distribute Customer controlled SOP’s
  • Update & distribute all changes to production and respective Build Sheets
  • Communicate introduction of new models/services with stakeholders through OCNs
  • Coordinate campaigns and factory rework programs on behalf of OEMs
  • Periodically review & audit setups to identify errors and achievable information
• Liaise with Customers, Regional Quality & Account Managers on all Customer requests and queries on product technical related matters, problem solve as necessary
• Support Regional Quality Coordinators with any Quality related matters
• Conduct Investigation, Root Cause Analysis and advise relevant stakeholders on Countermeasures
• Control Technical related documentation within PrixCar’s’ Quality Systems & Drives
• Coordinate review activities to be conducted by Regional Quality team members where required
• Provide Technical helpdesk style assistance to Processing sites and transport teams
• Maintain compliance with all SHE policies and procedures by regular performance review
• Must comply and adhere to State and National Legislation
• Other duties as required by National Technical Manager

Qualification & experience

Qualifications & Experience: 

• You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Quality Systems.
• You have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment.
• Whilst Automotive experience is preferred, it is not essential.
• You have quality systems knowledge (Eg: ISO 9001).
