Assured Asset Reliability Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Electronic Engineer to join our engineering team in Perth. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, testing and optimisation of electronic and communication systems used in industrial reliability and asset management environments.

Task & responsibilities

Troubleshooting and fault finding of the mining / mineral processing circuits and systems, communication and control systems
Train junior electronics engineers in above areas
Focused on the safety and environmental requirements while carrying out the duties.
Maintaining and programming of the asset management CMMS system, and the asset performance management system
Develop and review of the Planned Maintenance Checks and Work Instructions of the electronic circuits and associated components in the mining & heavy industry environment
Installation and commissioning of the SCADA and PCS (control systems) for mineral processing plant - Gold mining and iron ore.
Develop the operating performance and safety KPI's (Key performance Indicators), standards and procedures for operation, maintenance and repair.
Design electronics circuits for heavy mobile assets to monitor asset health and condition monitoring.
Analyse reliability and failure date of the electronics components to identify the key defects and prepare an action plan to improve the asset performance and prevent major failures.
analysing communications traffic and level of service, and determining the type of installation, location, layout and transmission medium for communication systems
Develop signal processing algorithms and implement for the rail & locomotives' Signals and communication systems

Qualification & experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field

• Minimum 1 years of relevant industry experience in electronic systems, communication systems or embedded systems development

• Experience in circuit design, system integration and electronic testing methodologies

• Knowledge of signal processing, communication networks and embedded software development

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical documentation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team
