Here at Linear, we contribute to medical research by conducting world first clinical trials across a wide range of therapeutic areas at our clinical trial centres in Joondalup and Nedlands. We are now looking to expand our nursing team and have multiple opportunities for both full-time and part-time nurses to join our team.

Your Role in Our Future
As a Research Nurse with Linear, you will work with our healthy clinical trial volunteers across a board range of trials balancing excellent nursing care and participant wellbeing whilst ensuring trial specific tasks are carried out in line with study protocols.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to pivot in their nursing career as You will have the opportunity to apply your nursing experience and develop new skills whilst contributing to medical research.

The role is full-time and requires shift work, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and the occasional weekends.


On a daily basis, you will be carrying out the following duties;

  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver study specific, clinical trial treatments and drug administration to patients as per legislative requirements and company policy. 

  • Liaise with Senior Research Nurses, Research Physicians and study teams to develop study specific task pads and assist with allocating resources as required throughout the clinic. 

  • Work across multiple digital platforms to collect, record and review patient data, records and complete required study documentation.

  • Provide support with training and ongoing performance of junior clinical staff carrying out clinical duties.

Your Experience
To really success in this role you must have great attention to detail, be driven by excellence, have a ‘can-do’ attitude and be able to adhere to processes. You will be diligent, adaptive, use your initiative, and enjoy a challenge.
Successful candidates must also meet the following requirements:

  • Currently registered with AHPRA (with no restrictions)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

  • Proven initiative, ability to work within a team, as well as autonomously, ability to handle multiple tasks with ease, high attention to detail with excellent time management.

  • Good computer literacy. Experience in using Google Apps, Word and Excel.
