This is a permanent part-time (0.4FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026.

Our school provides a comprehensive learning program for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 including specialist programs in physical education, music and the visual arts, science and Japanese. Students are supported by dedicated, dynamic and professional teaching and support staff.
The Role
Education Assistant - Special Needs assist teaching staff in the delivery of planned education programs and in promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment. This may include the operation of computers and digital technologies, implementation of individual or small group programs (such as minilit) or demonstrations and provision of valuable feedback to support student learning.
To be suitable for this role, you should possess the ability to provide feedback when required on education and therapy programs and participate in the evaluation process relating to student progress. Applicants will ideally have a strong knowledge of a range of evidence-based techniques for learning and behaviour and have experience or knowledge of disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Suitable applicants should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers to create and maintain a supportive, inclusive education program to meet the specific needs of the students. You will ideally be compassionate and able to work collaboratively to implement documented plans.
