About the role

Lead and support a class of upper primary students academically, socially, and emotionally within a well-managed, values-aligned learning environment. Collaborate with a supportive Primary team to contribute to curriculum planning, student wellbeing initiatives, and the broader life of the College. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Duties

• Deliver engaging, differentiated upper primary curriculum across key learning areas

• Design and implement student wellbeing and pastoral care strategies

• Collaborate with the Primary team on curriculum planning and school events

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate assessment and reporting records

• Contribute to the educational, cultural, and community life of the College

Skills & experience

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Primary Education (Bachelor of Education or equivalent)

• Current VIT registration (essential)

• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills

• Commitment to the values and ethos of a faith-based school community

• Recent graduates welcome - structured induction and mentoring provided
