  • Support young people with daily routines such as cooking and cleaning
  • Organise and participate in activities that promote growth and wellbeing
  • Provide consistent, trauma-informed, person-centred care
  • Collaborate with Case Managers & other professionals to support the young person's care plan
  • Support family contact activities where appropriate
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

Essential Requirements

  • Must be available to work weekend sleepover shifts
  • Minimum Certificate 3 in Youth Work, Community Services or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Out of Home Care or Foster Care settings
  • Experience working with young people impacted by trauma
  • Strong de-escalation skills and understanding of therapeutic care approaches - TCI training an advantage

  • Staff discounts on a wide range of products and services
  • A collaborative, passionate and supportive team
  • A role where you can truly make a difference in the lives of young people
