Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? Do you have a caring heart and a desire to help others? If so, we want you to join our team of support workers in SIL home setting & Community.

Position: Support Worker in Sydney & Wollongong

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to clients in their daily activities
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support clients with mobility and physical exercises
  • Help with household tasks and meal preparation
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Monitor and report on clients' health and well-being
Requirements:
  • Speak fluent English - Essential
  • Experience in Mental Health & Complex Behaviour - Highly regarded
  • Experience with working with immobile participants - Highly regarded
  • Experienced in Medication Administration
  • Competent in reading / following care plans, writing and documenting accurate detailed shift notes & incident reports.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License & own reliable transport
  • Experience with Manual Handling
  • Reliable, well-presented with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Support Work
  • NDIS clearance
  • First Aid & CPR certification
  • Police Check
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Excellent English verbal communication skills
  • NDIS orientation modules
  • Infection Control cert
  • Must have full working rights to work in Australia
  • 3 mininum contactable references
