Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Data Centre Technician / EUC Level 1 Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support within a secure enterprise and data centre environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-user support, hardware deployment, troubleshooting, rack and stack activities, asset management, and basic data centre operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 desktop and end-user support for hardware, software, and peripherals.

  • Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related equipment.

  • Manage user accounts, password resets, and basic Active Directory administration.

  • Carry out data centre activities including rack and stack, cabling, hardware replacement, and equipment audits.

  • Monitor and maintain server room and data centre environments.

  • Perform IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Decommission) activities.

  • Support Microsoft Windows environments and Microsoft 365 applications.

  • Escalate complex incidents to Level 2/3 teams as required.

  • Update tickets and documentation in the ITSM system.

  • Assist with asset management, inventory tracking, and equipment lifecycle management.

  • Follow security, compliance, and operational procedures at all times.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in Desktop Support, EUC Support, or Data Centre Operations.

  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking.

  • Experience with hardware break/fix, deployment, and troubleshooting.

  • Understanding of data centre cabling standards and rack environments.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Desirable:

  • Australian Citizenship.

  • NV1 Security Clearance (or willingness to obtain).

  • Experience in enterprise, government, or secure environments.

  • ITIL Foundation or relevant IT certifications.

Location: Australia
Clearance: Australian Citizen required, NV1 preferred. Assistance may be available for eligible candidates to obtain clearance.
