The RoleAs a TAFE Teacher in Education Support, you have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge to students in a classroom or other educational setting.
We have two (2) exciting temporary part-time (0.5 FTE) Teacher roles available until 25 June 2027 (unless otherwise determined) to join our Education Support team at TAFE Queensland’s Bracken Ridge and South Bank Campuses.
This position reports to the Educational Team Leader.
SalaryThe salary range for a part-time Teacher Step 1 – 4 is $46,465.01 - $52,609.05 (gross) per annum plus superannuation contributions of 12.75% of your salary.

Additionally, to become a TAFE Teacher, you must hold one of the following training and assessment credentials: TAE40122, TAE40116, TAE40110 plus TAELLN411 and TAEASS502, TAE50111, TAE50116, TAE50211, TAE50216, or Higher level qualification in adult education (approved by TAFE Queensland).
Note: Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience to be provided at interview.
Highly DesirableCandidates who possess the following will be highly regarded: High level of digital literacy skills across various platforms (online Learning Management Systems).
