Female Disability Support Worker – Penrith & Surrounding Areas

Kindred Disability Services is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Female Disability Support Worker to join our growing team and support NDIS participants in Penrith and surrounding areas.

About the Role

You will be providing individualised support to NDIS participants both in their homes and within the community. This role involves building meaningful relationships while assisting participants to achieve their personal goals and maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting participants with community access and social activities

  • Assisting with daily living tasks and personal care where required

  • Providing emotional support and companionship

  • Supporting participants to build confidence, independence, and life skills

  • Transporting participants to appointments and activities

  • Completing shift notes and required documentation

About You

  • Female support worker (required to meet participant preferences and support needs)

  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Previous experience in disability support, mental health, or community services is highly regarded

Essential Requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • Working With Children Check

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

  • Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle

  • Comprehensive Car Insurance

  • Right to work in Australia

  • 1+ year experience required
