We are currently seeking 4 Early Childhood Teachers (Bachelor qualified) on a permanent, full-time basis at the following services: 

• Kids' Early Learning Hassall Grove Preschool
• Kids' Early Learning Glendenning Preschool
• Kids' Early Learning Willmot Preschool
• Kids' Early Learning Riverstone Preschool.

We’re looking for passionate educators who are committed to inspiring young minds and nurturing the growth and development of children in our care. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a key role in designing and implementing engaging care and education programs, working collaboratively with the Director Child Care and the wider Kids' Early Learning team.

Qualifications and experience

Essential:

• Working towards or completion of a Bachelor of Teaching or other equivalent qualification
• Completion of Child Protection Course CHCPRT025 - Identify and report children and young people at risk
• Current certificate HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
• Current certificate HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting or Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training certificate that meets requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulation 2018
• Working with Children Check clearance valid for paid work.
• Current NESA accreditation (Conditional. Provisional, Proficient accreditation).

Desirable:

• Previous teaching experience, particularly in a long day care setting, would be an advantage
• Current class C driver's licence
• Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations
• Computer literate
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service.

Remuneration and benefits

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.

• Entry level for this position starts at $1,621.31 per week
• 35-hour working week 
• Rostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnight
