This role is based primarily at our Pymble location, and the ability to work from this site is essential. Additional opportunities are available across various Sydney locations, such as Inner West and Sydney CBD.

The Role

Join a well-coordinated care team supporting long-term NDIS male participants who require friendly, male support workers to assist in community access and personal care. You’ll provide a mix of:

• Emotional support and companionship
• Domestic assistance and community access
• Following strict guidelines outlined in care plan
• Experience supporting clients with high mental health needs (desirable)

Note: This role involves supporting participants with complex psychosocial needs and includes managing behaviours of concern and deescalation, personal care, and maintaining a safe living environment.

You’ll be great in this role if you are/have

• Sympathetic, empathetic and personable!
• NSW Driver Licence and your own insured vehicle
• Current Checks: NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, National Police Check, First Aid & CPR
• Reliable availability in the Inner West Sydney Region

Highly regarded

• Experience providing care to clients with complex autism-related support needs
• Willingness to assist with cleaning and maintaining a safe home environment
• Confidence with care plans, incident reporting and team communication
• Comfortable providing personal care and continence support when required
