French Teacher (ELC – Year 6)

Part-time | Annesley Junior School | Adelaide, SA

From the moment you walk through the gates at Annesley, you are greeted with a sense that something is different. Whilst there is an inviting embrace of community that is warm and familiar, the sound of children with their bright eyes and bright ideas, playing amongst nature becomes more present and the realisation that something special is happening is unavoidable.

Through truly unique programs, children are encouraged to explore beyond their comfort zones in a safe, supportive learning community, allowing them to adapt and evolve as resilient human beings. We are truly passionate about ensuring children leave with an identity, an understanding and image of themselves that prepares them for a lifetime of learning, no matter who they choose to become.

We dare to become, so they can be themselves today and become anything they want tomorrow.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative French Teacher to teach French from ELC to Year 6 within the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework. This is a part-time position commencing in Term 3.

The successful applicant will:

  • Design and deliver engaging, differentiated French learning experiences

  • Support student agency and learner growth across ELC–Year 6

  • Work in partnership with colleagues, students and families

  • Contribute positively to a culture of belonging and professional excellence
