Education Support Staff

The Banksia classroom operates within the Royal Children’s Hospital Mental Health inpatient setting and provides education support to students during their admission. The program focuses on engagement, connection, routine and supporting students to maintain links with learning.

about you

We are looking for staff who are:

• interested in working in a specialist education and mental health setting
• flexible and available for casual work across the week
• calm, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with students
• confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• committed to inclusive, trauma-informed and student-centred practice

Experience in specialist education, wellbeing, mental health or flexible learning settings is highly valued, but not essential. Staff will be supported with induction and guidance from the Banksia team.

This opportunity may suit CRTs or Education Support staff who are looking for flexible casual days and are interested in contributing to a unique and highly supportive school program.
