Home Support Worker (Cleaning Role) – Adelaide   Casual | Weekdays Only | Local Clients | Meaningful Work

Maid My Day is currently looking for reliable and caring cleaners around Adelaide suburbs to support elderly Australians in maintaining clean, safe and comfortable homes. 

This is more than just a cleaning job. For many of our clients, you may be one of the few familiar faces they see each week. The work you do genuinely helps them remain independent in their own homes.

What the role involves 

You’ll provide regular home cleaning services for elderly clients in their homes, including: 

• Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living areas 

• Vacuuming and mopping floors 

• Dusting and tidying 

• Changing bed linen 

• Light household support 

• Friendly conversation and regular client interaction 

You’ll often work with the same clients each week or fortnight, allowing you to build trust, routine and familiarity over time.

Cleaning experience is helpful, but not essential. Full training and support are provided. 

 

Hours, Pay & Location 

• Casual position 

• $32.31 per hour (including casual loading) 

• 15–25 hours per week as your schedule builds 

• Monday to Friday daytime work only 

• Clients matched locally around Klemzig and surrounding suburbs
