Early Childhood Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programs that support children's development in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Task & responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement educational programs in both indoor and outdoor environments using diverse materials and resources
• Provide a variety of learning experiences to support children's motor skills, social development, confidence, and cognitive understanding
• Promote children's language development through storytelling, music, role play, and group discussions
• Observe and assess children’s development and learning progress, documenting outcomes accordingly
• Identify and respond to children’s health, wellbeing, nutritional, and safety needs
• Monitor children for any signs of developmental delays, emotional concerns, or additional needs
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children’s progress and development
• Attend and participate in staff meetings, parent interviews, and centre activities
• Contribute to community engagement and family support initiatives
• Supervise and mentor student teachers undertaking professional placements

Qualification & experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education
• Valid teaching certification
• Current Working with Children Check
• Experience working with young children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
