Task & responsibilities

  • Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
  • Develop and implement programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children
  • Assisting in the observation and evaluation of children's strengths, interests and preferences. 
  • Design and implement activities to be included in Children's development program
  • Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for children
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff
  • Handle administrative tasks related to child care services.
  • Support daily centre operations and mentor junior educators
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate learning and development activities

Qualification & experience

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Previous experience in a child care setting
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
