Early Childhood Teacher

We are seeking a second ECT to join our centre team. We are flexible with the structure of this role and would welcome someone who is either happy to work across our older age group rooms as a floating ECT, or someone who would prefer a more consistent role within our 3–4-year-old kindergarten program.

The Centre:

Our centre is a modern, purpose-built service with a warm, community-focused feel. Our indoor learning environments are designed to be cosy, welcoming and nurturing—spaces where children feel safe, valued and supported to thrive. 
Our expansive outdoor environments are natural and designed to inspire exploration. We are currently enhancing these spaces with sensory gardens, a worm farm, a beehive and other nature-based experiences that encourage children to grow, discover and develop a genuine connection with the environment. 
We have a strong focus on native flora and fauna and proudly partner with local organisations including wildlife rescue groups, the RSPCA and other small community businesses. We also support foster families within our community, nurturing children’s sense of care, empathy and respect for animals, nature and the world around them. 
  
Here’s what you’ll bring:

• Completion of the national mandatory Child Protection training via the GECCKO platform
• Tertiary Qualifications (University Degree or equivalent) in Early Childhood Education as approved by ACECQA
• Proven knowledge of the National Quality Framework
• Previous experience working in the early childhood sector in an ECT role (essential)
• Current Working with Children Check (QLD Blue Card).
