The opportunity 

  • Join our Whyalla ELC as a highly valued Early Childhood Educator (Team Leader). 
  • Permanent full-time position staring immediately.
  • Salary range of $79,684 - $83,250
  • You'll work closely with our Director and team to shape meaningful learning experiences, and build strong, positive relationships with children and families.
  • This will include planning and implementing educational programs in line with the EYLF and NQF, supporting children's learning and development in a safe and nurturing environment and supporting daily care routines and documentation.

About you 

You are a warm, proactive Early Childhood Educator and thrive in a team leadership support role. You bring creativity, flexibility, and a nurturing spirit to every day, whether you are planning engaging learning activities or simply being present in a child's moment of discovery. You enjoy mentoring and encouraging team members and are ready to make a positive impact on the lives of children, families, and staff in a close-knit and values-led community.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a suitable Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA approved qualification.
  • Has at least 2 years experience in Early Childhood Education or relevant field. 
  • Is a committed Christian who is active in church fellowship to join our vibrant Christian community.
  • Has outstanding attention to detail.
  • Has the ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Holds the required checks and training as outlined in the Job and Person Specification (or is willing to complete these prior to commencing).
