Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate Diploma Room Leader to join the team at our Sydney Olympic Park Centre - Betty Cuthbert. Mini Masterminds Sydney Olympic Park (LZ SOP PTY LTD) supports children across all stages of early childhood. This is a hands-on, on the floor role where you will lead a room, mentor educators, implement high quality programs, and support children’s growth, curiosity, and development.

Location: 2A Betty Cuthbert Ave, Sydney Olympic Park, NSW 2127
Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per annum plus superannuation

Task & responsibilities

Lead and inspire a team of educators in your room through on-the-floor mentoring and support.
Plan and deliver engaging, holistic learning programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of every child in your care.
Build positive relationships with families and support open communication.
Collaborate with the Centre Director and Educational Leader to maintain a high-quality service.

Qualification & experience

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
Valid Working with Children Check
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
Child Protection training/certificate
At least 1 year of experience as an Educator in an early childhood education and care setting
Demonstrated ability in leading a room and mentoring educators
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
