As a Diploma/Certificate Educator with GRO Early Learning, you will actively participate in daily activities that enhance the developmental and educational milestones of children through both educational programs and play-based learning.

Task & responsibilities

Task & Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement creative and stimulating educational programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children.
  • Develop strong, positive relationships with children, their families, and other team members.
  • Assess and support the learning and development of each child.
  • Document and communicate children's developmental progress and actively participate in meetings with parents and staff.
  • Contribute to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information, and working collaboratively within our team.
  • Comply with the center's policies and procedures as well as all licensing, legislation, and regulations.

Qualification & experience

Qualification & Experience

  • Educational Qualifications: Must hold either a Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, recognized by the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). Candidates currently without this qualification but willing to obtain it are also encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum 12 months experience.
  • Working with Children's Check: Must have a current QLD Working with Children's Check, or demonstrate a willingness to obtain one before commencement.
  • First Aid Certifications: Must possess current certifications in First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis management, or be willing to complete these certifications promptly.
  • Knowledge and Understanding: Must have a solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS). This knowledge is essential in delivering high-quality education and care.
