• Create an innovative and stimulating environment that makes our Centre the choice
for families within the local community
• Evaluate and keep appropriate records
• Supervise and support educators with programming and daily duties
• Liaise and consult with parents whilst maintaining confidentiality
• Comply with and maintain updated Centre policies and procedures
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all stakeholders (children, educators and families)
• Support, guide and promote positive behaviours
• Demonstrate commitment to ongoing learning and self-development
You will work with a team of dedicated educators and assistants to create a stimulating, positive and inclusive environment that reflects the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) whilst maintaining the elements
of the National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Demonstrated experience as an early childhood educator (Diploma qualified) is desirable, delivering a high-quality play-based educational program
• High- level understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework, Education Care Services National Law and Regulations, the National Quality Framework and Child Safe Standards
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills with staff, children, families and communities.
• Experience working with vulnerable children and families is desirable.
ACECQA approved Diploma level qualification or actively working towards a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Valid `Employee' Working with Children Check
• Willingness to consent to a Police Check
• International Police Check required if resided outside of Australia for 12 months or more during the last 10 years
• First Aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications
• Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting online learning
• Food Handling Certificate and Safe Sleep Training is desirable.
