We’re looking for a Safety Officer to support our teams across multiple sites in the Perth metropolitan area, with occasional travel to regional WA locations.

This role suits someone who builds rapport easily, communicates clearly, and enjoys providing practical support to leaders and frontline workers as they implement HSE and compliance systems, policies, and plans.

About the Role

As a Safety Officer, you will:

  • Support leaders and workers with the implementation of HSE and compliance systems, policies, and plans.

  • Work across multiple Perth sites, engaging confidently with people at all levels.

  • Lead or support incident investigations and ensure actions are completed to prevent recurrence.

  • Assist with safety and compliance audits, contributing to practical and sustainable improvements.

  • Provide guidance to operational teams in a way that adapts to different environments and work groups.

  • Maintain organised and accurate safety documentation and reporting using tools like MYOSH.

  • Travel occasionally to regional WA sites.

Must‑Haves

  • An approachable style and the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels.

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

  • Experience supporting safety or operational teams in a practical, onsite environment.

  • Current driver’s licence & access to a reliable vehicle.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Co-pilot)

  • Ability to work across multiple sites and manage varied priorities.

Nice‑to‑Have

  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or willingness to obtain - support will be provided).

  • Background in transport, warehousing, or logistics.

  • Previous experience in incident investigations, audits, or HSE system implementation.

  • Experience with online safety management software like MYOSH.
