We’re growing and looking for a motivated and safety-focused Safety Officer to support our team. If you’re someone who takes safety seriously, enjoys working with people, and wants to build your experience in the construction industry — we’d love to hear from you.

• Supporting the team in maintaining safety compliance and promoting a positive safety culture on site

• Assisting with the implementation and upkeep of safety procedures and documentation

• Participating in site safety inspections and helping identify hazards and risks

• Promoting safe work practices and encouraging others to prioritise safety

• Assisting with incident reporting and investigations

• Helping coordinate routine safety checks such as testing and tagging of equipment

• Supporting return-to-work processes and general safety administration

• Working closely with supervisors and workers to ensure safety standards are followed

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar safety or construction-related role

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or currently working towards it)

• A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Strong communication skills and the confidence to speak up about safety

• Good attention to detail and organisational skills

• Ability to follow processes and contribute to continuous improvement

• Someone reliable, proactive, and committed to keeping everyone safe

• Experience in construction or a trade-based environment

• Additional tickets or training such as White Card, Silica Awareness, Asbestos Awareness, or similar

• Demonstrated knowledge of ACT WHS legislation and practices

• Eagerness to further develop your safety knowledge and career
