Construction Supervisor

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Construction Supervisor to join a client-side project team based in Karratha, WA. This role is critical in overseeing construction works and supporting the transition from construction through to commissioning handover.

We will also consider applications from Quality Inspectors with significant site construction experience, particularly in piping and mechanical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee construction and completion activities as part of the client project team.
• Supervise SMP (Structural, Mechanical & Piping) and Civil construction works, with electrical exposure advantageous.
• Coordinate with contractor and operations teams to ensure construction activities are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
• Oversee compliance with JSEAs, Permit to Work (PTW) processes, and general site HSE performance.
• Participate in Mechanical Completion (MC) walkdowns and contribute to documentation dossiers.
• Review completion documentation including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Inspection & Test Certificates (ITCs).

About You

• Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or Quality Inspector within the mining, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors.
• Strong background in SMP and Civil construction disciplines.
• Solid understanding of mechanical completion, handover, and commissioning processes.
• Familiarity with HSE compliance frameworks including JSEAs and PTW systems.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder engagement skills across contractor and operations teams.
• Experience reviewing ITPs, ITCs, and completion documentation.
