We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on experience in structural work, interior woodcraft, and general building maintenance. Task & responsibilities

  • Evaluates building surfaces: Examines ceilings, panels, cladding, interior walls, glass sections, and timber features to spot faults or areas that need attention.
  • Reads construction documentation: Studies plans, technical sketches, and structural diagrams to understand measurements, design intent, and material requirements.
  • Marks materials for cutting: Lays out accurate guide lines using measuring tools, chalk, pencils, or marking devices to support precise shaping and assembly.
  • Fits structural elements: Installs windows, frames, mouldings, and other built components with a combination of manual and powered equipment.
  • Restores damaged structures: Removes faulty timber and replaces it with new sections using appropriate carpentry techniques and tools.
  • Creates interior joinery: Constructs or refurbishes doors and other indoor wooden features using workshop machinery and carpentry equipment.
  • Builds load‑bearing assemblies: Joins and secures materials to form frames, supports, or structural units using fasteners such as nails, screws, dowels, adhesives, and similar hardware.
  • Practises safe work habits: Maintains a tidy, organised, and risk‑free workspace by following established safety standards and procedures.

Qualification & experience

  • Certificate III in carpentry or equivalent.
  • Practical carpentry experience across installation, repairs, and general building work.
  • Ability to read plans and follow technical diagrams accurately.
  • White Card is must
  • Strong measurement skills for marking, cutting, and preparing materials.
  • Competence with tools including standard hand tools and power equipment.
  • Knowledge of building materials for correct selection and safe use.
  • Understanding of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe workspace.
  • Reliable work ethic with the ability to work independently or in a team.
