We’re seeking an experienced full time Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex aviation pavement projects—including runway, taxiway, and apron works—across Australia.

In this critical position, you’ll oversee multidisciplinary teams, collaborate closely with airport authorities and key stakeholders, and ensure full compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards at every stage of project delivery.

Task & responsibilities

  • Drive the overall management of project scope, budget, program, and WHSEQ outcomes.
  • Maintain effective communication and strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate the delivery program and resources across multiple projects to achieve efficient and high-quality outcomes.
  • Monitor financial performance to meet or exceed contract requirements through effective planning, programming, and administration.
  • Lead the review of WHSEQ, design risk assessments, and emergency procedures in collaboration with the client’s representatives.
  • Develop project-specific inductions and ensure all personnel understand safety requirements and hazards.
  • Identify required equipment, workforce, and competency standards for project delivery.
  • Oversee Construction Plans and subcontractor compliance (plant, WMS, and competencies).
  • Conduct and review risk assessments, performance reports, and issue resolutions.
  • Manage conflicts and disputes in a timely, professional manner.
  • Perform other duties as required to support successful project outcomes.


Qualification & experience

Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Proven Project Management experience on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Previous experience in the Australian Aviation sector.
  • Current Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
  • 4+ years experience in Estimating, Tendering, or Contract Management.
  • Ability to build and sustain productive relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
