HC Truck Driver

Asphaltech has an asphalt plant in Picton, WA. This is a full-time permanent position. If successful you will be required to deliver asphalt throughout the Bunbury and south west area. 

The ideal candidate will have experience of driving Heavy Combination vehicles and experience of operating and tipping asphalt will be highly regarded.

Task & responsibilities

Ensuring the Pre-Start checklists are carried out prior to the operation ofthe truck and trailer.

Daily operation of truck and trailer to safely cart asphalt to various jobsites.

Maintaining the truck and trailer in a clean and tidy condition as percleaning schedule.

Ensuring truck and trailer are free of any undue maintenance or service

Qualification & experience

Qualifications:

Current valid HC Driver’s License and can Provide a Certified Record of Traffic Infringement Notices

Construction Industry White Card or equivalent

Experience:

Proven experience as a qualified truck driver working in a similar working environment.

Previous experience as asphalt tipping truck driver will be highly regarded.

Skills:

Ability to drive a HC Vehicle

Able to reverse with a trailer

Excellent Communication skills.

Be able to provide instruction and receive instruction.

Ability to operate forklift and / or loader will be highly regarded.

Able to carry out all works in a safe manner (as per CompanyProcedures)

Able to accommodate early start in the morning as well as weekend works, and night shift works.

Physically fit to carry out manual labour.
