Construction Project Manager

The role:

Join our growing team to lead and deliver high-quality Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), residential, and commercial projects. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing construction from concept to completion, ensuring exceptional quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Analyse architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation to plan and manage construction execution.

2. Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials, plant, and equipment, allocating resources effectively across projects.

3. Lead on-site coordination, supervising construction activities and multiple trades to ensure adherence to project schedules.

4. Monitor and manage project timelines, costs, quality, and risks, implementing change orders and adjusting plans as needed.

5. Manage compliance with Occupational Health & Safety legislation and quality standards through regular site inspections and audits.

6. Liaise with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design problems and ensure project alignment with goals.

7. Lead, coordinate, and oversee subcontractors and on-site staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to project protocols.

8. Establish and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, and manage submissions to local authorities as required.

Qualifications & experience

· Qualifications in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related discipline.

· Proven experience in planning, directing, and coordinating building projects from feasibility to completion.

· Strong financial acumen, with skills in estimating, scheduling, and delivering projects on-budget.

· Expertise in interpreting designs, managing compliance, and ensuring the highest standards of work health and safety.

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure client satisfaction.

· A proactive and efficient mindset, dedicated to achieving quality outcomes and improving project processes.
