About Us
Upwards Living is a committed provider of health and support services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and aged care. We offer person-centred support to individuals of all ages—focusing not only on physical needs, but also on uplifting the overall quality of life for people with disability and their loved ones.
What You'll Do
• Provide person-centred active support with personal care, domestic assistance, and meal preparation
• Offer emotional support — listen, inspire, and build meaningful connections to help people navigate daily challenges
• Deliver flexible, responsive support tailored to individual participant needs and goals, following their support plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and report any changes in client needs or wellbeing
• Promote and assist clients to live an active, healthy, and positive lifestyle
This job requires applicants to be able to work in Eastwood, across Monday to Friday 10am - 5pm and weekend shifts when needed.
Essential Requirements
• Certificate III or above in Individual Support, Aged Care, Community Services, or Disability (advantageous)
• Satisfactory Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
• First Aid and CPR certificate (current or willing to obtain)
• Evidence of right to work in Australia
• Previous experience as a support worker or in a similar role (preferred)
• Current valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
