About the Role:

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Support Care Workers to support NDIS participants in Melbourne. This role involves providing personal care, community access, and transport services to individuals with varying support needs. You will play a vital role in enhancing the independence and quality of life of our clients.

Location will be in Clayton supporting one of our long term NDIS Participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care tasks such as showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

• Provide transportation to appointments, community activities, and social outings.

• Support clients with daily living activities and promote independence.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and support coordinators.

• Follow individualised support plans and uphold client dignity and privacy.

Requirements:

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent.

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable, insured vehicle.

• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.

• Current First Aid and CPR certification.

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (as per government requirements).

• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others.

• You will need to be an ABN holder as this will be ongoing contract work. There will be an opportunity for Permanency in the future.
