Job Description: We are seeking several compassionate and dedicated Disability support worker to join our team. As a core support provider, we focus on providing high-quality care for people with disabilities. The role involves assisting individuals with daily tasks, personal care, mobility, and community participation, all while delivering services in line with each participant’s person-centered plan.

Key Responsibilities:

Accompany and support clients with disabilities during daily activities, ensuring safety and comfort.

Assist with personal activities, such as hygiene, dressing, and mobility.

Prepare meals according to the dietary requirements of clients.

Assist with household tasks, including cleaning and organizing.

Facilitate community participation and assist clients in social and group activities. Provide companionship and emotional support to foster well-being.

Help with travel and transportation needs, as well as planning daily tasks Promote a positive, inclusive environment and work collaboratively with clients and their families to achieve the best outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:

At least one year of experience in a similar role, providing care for individuals with disabilities.

Excellent communication skills in English.

A commitment to person-centered care and respect for clients’ needs and preferences. Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and dedication to improving clients' quality of life.

Knowledge of NDIS services is an advantage, but not mandatory.
