About The Role

Baobab Care pty ltd is seeking 10 Aged or Disabled Carers in  Kalgoorlie, WA and it's surroundings who will provide direct personal care and support to elderly persons and people with disability in accordance with individual care plans. The role supports clients’ physical wellbeing, emotional health, independence and social participation while maintaining compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and aged care regulations.

Job Responsibilities

Assisting clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting

Supporting mobility and transfers using appropriate manual handling techniques

Assisting with meal preparation and feeding where required

Monitoring health conditions and reporting changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals

Maintain accurate records, including daily progress notes, incident reports and care documentation 

Administering or assisting with medication under supervision and in line with care plans

Supporting clients with domestic tasks including cleaning, laundry and shopping

Provide emotional support, companionship and social interaction to enhance quality of life 

Implementing individualised care plans and behaviour support strategies

Maintaining accurate daily progress notes, incident reports and documentation

Supporting clients to access community activities and appointments

Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, WHS and safeguarding requirements

Essential Requirements

AQF Certificate III or higher qualification in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or related field or work experience equivalent of formal qualification

Minimum 2 years relevant experience in aged care or disability support

Knowledge of person-centred care principles

Understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and safeguarding requirements

Current National Police Clearance

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Working With Children Check (if required)

Current First Aid & CPR

Valid Drivers Licence

Full-time positions in  Kalgoorlie, WA and it's surroundings
