Qualified Builder

Lovett Construction Group Pty Ltd is looking for a skilled Builder / Working Site Supervisor to join our team full-time.

We are a growing residential construction company based in the Blue Mountains, working across renovations, decks, cladding, structural carpentry, residential additions, and new home projects.

This role would suit an experienced builder or supervisor who still enjoys being on the tools but can also manage a site, direct trades, and solve problems.

You will be responsible for helping run residential building projects from start to finish, working alongside our carpenters, apprentices, subcontractors, and management team.

The role includes:

• Running day-to-day site works

• Leading carpenters and apprentices on site

• Reading and interpreting plans, engineering, and specifications

• Setting out and planning work sequences

• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard

• Managing materials, site organisation, and job progress

• Coordinating with subcontractors where required

• Identifying issues early and communicating clearly with management

• Ensuring safe work practices are followed

• Helping improve our systems, methods, and build quality

We are looking for someone who:

• Has General Builders Licence

• Able to supervise building projects

• Takes pride in quality workmanship

• Understands framing, decks, renovations, cladding, fix-outs, and general residential construction

• Can read plans and think through construction details

• Communicates well with workers, subcontractors, and management

• Is organised and reliable

• Can lead trades and help train tradesmen

• $55–$60 per hour, depending on experience and ability

• Full-time position

• Building designer: We have a full time building designer here working on house plans, projects, and DA approvals

• Carpenters: We have a big team of 6+ qualified carpenters and KBL builders

• Apprentices: We have a strong team of carpenter apprentices

• Directors: Two directors of the company with a focus on building a long-term housebuilding company

• Builder: Working with supervisory builder
