What we're looking for
A decent and caring human who is a Support Worker with a genuine desire to support vulnerable people
Experience providing direct care and support to individuals with disabilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with Clients
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives
Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle

About the Client
QSSS Pty Ltd is seeking a Female Disability Support Worker to join our team in Kooralbyn QLD.
You’ll be the person who knows when to step in and when to give space, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From meal prep and kitchen duties to online shopping and household organization, your role will keep life balanced and stress-free.
We’re seeking someone kind, patient, and adaptable - someone who can handle challenges with a positive attitude and a steady hand. If you have experience in the armed forces or supporting individuals with PTSD, that’s a huge plus.

Shifts Available:
Every Monday 09:30AM to 1:30PM with the ability to pick up more when your team mates are away.

Your key responsibilities & accountabilities:
To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs
Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
To be successful you must:
Have experience in providing bowel therapy to clients
Experienced in Manual Handling
Resonate with the role description above
Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening or yellow card
Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (preferred)
