The opportunity

RSGx is recruiting a forward‑thinking General Manager HSEQ to shape and lead our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality strategy across our national project portfolio. This role carries significant influence, guiding a culture of safety, sustainability, and quality excellence in line with ISO and Federal Safety Commission requirements.

We welcome applications from seasoned HSEQ General Managers as well as high‑performing senior leaders looking to step into a national leadership role. The General Manager HSEQ will champion continuous improvement and operational assurance across RSGx, with responsibilities including:

• Partner with state-based HSEQ leads and project teams to embed safety and quality across all phases. 
• Develop and implement RSGx’s Integrated HSEQ Management System (ISO 45001, 14001, 9001). 
• Provide strategic HSEQ leadership, governance, and risk oversight. 
• Ensure compliance with legislation and client standards across jurisdictions. 
• Lead incident investigations and risk control strategies. 
• Drive continuous improvement through audits, reviews, and corrective actions. 
• Oversee HSEQ reporting, documentation, and performance analytics. 
• Mentor and develop HSEQ professionals nationwide. 
• Promote a strong HSEQ culture through leadership, training, and engagement. 

About You 

We’re looking for a seasoned HSEQ leader with proven experience overseeing national safety, environmental, and quality strategies within the construction or infrastructure sectors or a senior leader who is ready to take on their next challenge and step up into this role.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ISO standards, specifically ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001, as well as a strong understanding of Federal Safety Commission requirements.  

You’ll have a track record of successfully embedding safety and quality systems across complex, high-risk projects, and be confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels to drive performance and compliance. Your ability to lead incident investigations, facilitate risk workshops, and implement assurance strategies will be key to shaping RSGx’s culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
