Account Executive

An established and growing insurance brokerage is looking for an experienced Account Executive / Assistant Broker to join their collaborative team in a fast-paced environment with strong long-term career progression.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a few years of broking experience who is ready to take the next step toward becoming a fully-fledged Broker in the near future.

About the Role

Working closely with senior brokers, you’ll support a diverse portfolio of commercial clients across a range of industries including construction, contracting, hospitality and mining services.

You’ll be heavily involved in the day-to-day management of client accounts while gaining valuable exposure to complex risks, insurers, products and client strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing renewals and policy processing
• Supporting senior brokers with a varied portfolio
• Attending client review meetings
• Liaising with underwriters and insurers
• Assisting with claims management
• Preparing documentation and endorsements
• Building strong internal and external relationships

This role offers genuine mentorship and a clear pathway into a Broker position within the business.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Tier 1 qualified in Insurance Broking
• Organised, structured and proactive
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Looking to progress their broking career
• Confident communicating with clients and insurers
• Able to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment

Previous experience within commercial broking is essential, and exposure to WinBEAT software will be highly regarded.
