The Opportunity

As a Service Coordinator, you’ll be the key link between customers, technicians, and internal teams, ensuring service work is scheduled, communicated, and delivered smoothly.

Success in this role requires confidence working in a technical environment, with the ability to understand and interpret service documentation, drawings, and manuals to support effective job planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate service technicians for maintenance, repairs, and installations

  • Manage daily service workflows to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime

  • Liaise with clients to confirm bookings, site access requirements, and service expectations

  • Read and interpret basic technical drawings, manuals, and service documentation to support job planning and coordination

  • Track job progress and keep customers informed of timelines and outcomes

  • Maintain accurate service records, job sheets, and reports

  • Support safety, quality, and compliance requirements

  • Assist with parts ordering and inventory coordination

  • Provide general administrative support and data entry

About You

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in service coordination, scheduling, or operational support roles

  • Experience in a technical, mechanical, or engineering service environment (highly regarded)

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (desirable)

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and service documentation

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Clear communication skills and a customer-first mindset

  • Confidence using scheduling systems, CRMs, and Microsoft Office applications
