What you’ll be doing:

  • Processing customer orders accurately through company systems

  • Coordinating closely with warehouse, logistics, and operations teams to support timely dispatch

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries relating to orders, deliveries, and ETAs

  • Monitoring deliveries and proactively managing delays or exceptions

  • Supporting the Sales team by ensuring delivery and logistics commitments are met

  • Working with offshore virtual assistants to ensure consistency and accuracy of order and freight processing

  • Maintaining accurate records and system data across orders and logistics activities

  • Assisting with general customer service administration as required

  • Contributing to the documentation and improvement of standard operating procedures related to daily tasks and workflows

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role within logistics, transport, sales support, or supply chain environments

  • Proven experience with freight bookings, delivery coordination, or order fulfilment

  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach to customer service

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and administration

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment

  • Confidence working with order management or business systems and Microsoft Office

  • A practical, solutions-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership

  • You must have the right to work in Australia

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience working with offshore or remote teams, including virtual assistants

  • Exposure to manufacturing, warehousing, wholesale distribution, or operational environments

  • Familiarity with logistics performance measures such as on-time, in-full delivery

Benefits:

  • Full-time, stable role within a long established growing Australian owned business

  • Clear role scope with defined systems and responsibilities

  • Supportive team environment across sales, logistics, and operations

  • Opportunity to contribute to process improvement and operational maturity

  • Competitive remuneration based on experience
